REIMAGINATION

THE NEW WAY TO EXPERIENCE
MUSEUM NATIONAL OF INDONESIA

Museums are often perceived as passive spaces. A places that store history without strong emotional interaction. The biggest challenge is bridging the distance between younger generations and cultural heritage often seen as static and detached from daily life. To overcome this, we designed a seamlessly told in every medium approach: a cross-medium storytelling method that integrates original artifacts, digital content, physical spaces, and visual projections into one cohesive narrative experience. A series of technologies such as projection mapping, kinetic installations, a 360° theater, and holograms, become more than visual attractions; they serve as narrative mediums connecting visitors emotionally to history, inviting them not only to see but also to feel, understand, and engage.

Through this transformation, the museum evolves from a quiet repository of artifacts into an interactive, collaborative, and open space, where the past and the future converge. Every visitor becomes an active part of the nation’s living heritage, experiencing history not just as something to observe, but as something to share and keep alive for generations to come.
